More than 80% of Financial Service Institutions that are planning to adopt or replace Core Banking Systems technologies will do so in 2012; while one third (76%) will adopt Online Banking Solutions in the same year. The majority of Financial Services affirm that Core Banking Systems technologies and Online Banking Solutions are both of high value to their company. Core Banking Systems  also  present high risk when looking at factors such as integration, complexity, risk of catastrophic failure, and dependence of resources.

Within Delivery Channels technologies, those for Remote Deposit Captures and ATM Hardware Solutions are the ones that the majority of FSIs will adopt or replacing this year.

More than half of the FSIs adopting or replacing Card Transaction Acquiring and Price Optimization technologies plan to do so in 2016, or after.

The IT Road Map is an IT planning product designed to provide a comprehensive and strategic outlook to technology decision makers. It provides information about when financial institutions plan to invest in various technology areas, the value and risk associated with each technology area, and the relative value that one technology area provides over the others in the industry. The road map is set to help organizations make technology decisions with confidence, minimize business risk, and align IT initiatives to business goals.
