Office Overview

At the Corporate Executive Board, we value differences in backgrounds and experiences because we believe diversity enhances our ability to serve our membership of more than 3,700 leading organisations spanning more than 45 countries and 6 continents. At last count our London office employed 350 staff from 34 different nationalities, speaking 19 different languages.

CEB’s energetic corporate culture provides great opportunities for staff to enjoy the many attractions of London with their colleagues through activities such as volunteering within the community, and participating in various sporting, cultural, and social clubs.

The European head office in London opened 1997 and since then we have moved to new and expanded premises, having doubled in size across the past two years. We will be further investing in our European presence, with offices planned in Germany and France.

CEB London is based at Victoria House, which occupies an island site bounded by Bloomsbury Square, Bloomsbury Place, Vernon Place, and Southampton Row. The building was designed by Charles William Long and built in four phases between 1926 and 1932. Five and a half million bricks and five thousand tons of steel were used for the original structure along with Portland stone from the same quarry as St. Paul’s cathedral. When completed it was the largest office block in the country apart from Whitehall.

At CEB London we are ideally situated within walking distance to some of London’s central hot spots, the West End, Covent Garden, and the British Museum.

Diverse Opportunities
“I was attracted by the diverse and international element of CEB and the fact that I would be able to make use of my languages. When I came to London for my in-person interview, the office environment really appealed to me, and I was excited to have the opportunity to work for such a growing organisation.”

A Personal Experience
“My motivation for joining the firm was much more instinctive than it was thought out and reasoned. I just felt like I belonged at CEB more than at any of the other firms I was interviewing with. I felt I was the ideal candidate for the position and not just another good fit. Every other firm I interviewed made me feel like I was another run-of-the-mill M.B.A., and that if I didn’t join they could very easily just get someone else.”
