Executive Education Lead, Content Delivery
We are searching for an Executive Education Lead, Content Delivery to write exceptional speeches and present our research findings in working sessions with leading executives. This individual will deliver presentations ranging in length from one to four hours intended to teach our member institutions the key findings and best practices from our work. In these sessions, the Executive Education Lead will carry the burden of describing frontier market trends and introducing new (and often controversial) practices.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Writing speeches for executive presentations for multiple research programs within the practice.
- Delivering presentations to executive and board-level audiences in order to teach the key insights from our research. Audiences can range from 40 to 300 participants and therefore requires that the executive education lead maintain a significant range in his/her presentation capabilities.
- Assisting member institutions in understanding and tailoring our research findings to their specific issues.
This person must be able to call upon extensive knowledge of business practices to understand research themes, address member concerns and facilitate effective discussion.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, included demonstrated expertise in speech-writing
- Exceptional facility in scripted and extemporaneous speaking
- Exceptional ability to immediately establish one’s credibility with senior executives
- Ability to conduct substantive content discussions with senior level-contracts at member organizations
- MBA, JD or other graduate degrees preferred
- 5 years+ work experience in either business strategy, teaching, consulting, law or journalism required
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Demonstrated poise and grace under pressure
- Willingness to work outside the strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of member service
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
