We believe that a corporate culture based on inclusion is both an ethical imperative as well as a source of competitive advantage. CEB is committed to promoting inclusion within our workplace and to incorporating a diversity of perspectives into our work. This posture enhances our ability to serve our membership. Our staff members’ commitment to inclusion can be seen in the respect and recognition we hold for a diverse and inclusive workforce across all dimensions of difference.
The Corporate Executive Board is an inclusive equal opportunity employer, committed to the hiring, advancement and fair treatment of individuals without regard to race, color, religion, gender, marital status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, military or veteran status, or any other protected status designated by applicable law.
We at the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) use the word “inclusion” to demonstrate our commitment to include all staff members in staff members in our mission. CEB is committed to promoting inclusion within our workplace and to incorporating a diversity of perspectives into our work.
By working together we form a strong diverse team that reflects the many cultures we serve around the world. We have created an “Inclusion and Diversity Portal” for our staff members to learn more and to participate in our inclusion efforts. This portal demonstrates how CEB supports staff at every stage of their life and career with benefits, programs, and services to balance career and personal needs.
CEB understands that representation alone does not guarantee creation of a culture where everyone feels valued and is empowered to contribute. With our focus on inclusion, we make it clear that every staff member must take personal responsibility to think and act in a way that includes and values others.
Our aspiration is to attract and engage a professional staff that reflects the diversity of our membership, and whose varied perspectives inform the creativity and relevance of our work. We are committed to providing a vibrant, inclusive professional environment, and we invest unusual effort in identifying and recruiting exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds.
Here at CEB we’ve created the “Inclusion Working Group” (IWG) that is dedicated to furthering the inclusive atmosphere at CEB. IWG created a formal CEB Mentoring Program in 2004. The Mentoring Program has become a vital component of professional development across CEB. The program connects interested staff members who are relatively early in their careers with more experienced staff to enrich individual professional development and promote a culture of coaching across the firm. The program includes training for all involved and an in-depth website highlighting discussion topics. Additionally, we hold separate brown bag sessions each quarter to share best practices for strengthening the mentoring relationships.
