The Corporate Executive Board's benefits philosophy is to provide a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to foster the health and financial wellness of our staff and their families while promoting a work–life balance. Your core health and welfare benefits are effective on your first day of employment with the firm. You may also enroll eligible dependents for certain benefits, including your spouse, dependent children or stepchildren up to age 19—age 25 if they are full-time students—disabled children over age 19 who are incapable of self-support, domestic partners, and children of domestic partners.

 

Management

Medical

The Corporate Executive Board currently offers a choice of three medical plans through UnitedHealthcare. All three plans share the following benefits:

  • Coverage that is effective on the first day of employment
  • Preventive care covered at 100%
  • Freedom to visit any provider with no referrals
  • Access to a nationwide network of doctors and hospitals

Dental

  • Traditional dental plan coverage
  • Preventive care expenses covered at 100% (two cleanings annually)
  • Orthodontia benefits included

Vision

  • 100% covered yearly eye exam
  • Discounts on laser eye surgery
  • $200 reimbursement every 12 months for glasses or contacts

 

Providing Security for Your Future

Life Insurance

  • Basic life and accident (AD&D) insurance at no cost to you
  • Option to purchase additional life and AD&D insurance for yourself, your spouse, and your child(ren)

Disability Insurance

  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage provided at no cost to you
  • Coverage effective immediately

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) let you set aside pretax earnings to pay for a variety of out-of-pocket expenses. The Corporate Executive Board offers the following FSA plans for its staff:

Group Legal

The group legal benefit provides affordable and easy access to local attorneys who can provide you a variety of legal services, including but not limited to will preparation, name changes, preparation of mortgages, identity theft, and estate planning.

 

Planning for Your Future

401(k) Plan

The Corporate Executive Board plan allows you to put pretax wages into a retirement savings account, and CEB will match a portion of your contributions. Benefits of participating in the 401(k) plan include:

  • Payroll deductions and employer match—you may contribute 1–100% of your base pay to your 401(k) account. The Corporate Executive Board matches 50% of the first 6% of your contributions.
  • Professionally managed investments—funds are managed by the Vanguard Group.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan

All staff can purchase CEB stock at a 15% discount through posttax payroll deductions.

Employee Assistance Program

The Corporate Executive Board offers an employee assistance program (EAP) for all staff members, their immediate families, or other members of their immediate household.

Fitness Discounts

The Corporate Executive Board has made arrangements at several top fitness facilities. Spouses and domestic partners are welcome to join.

Family-Friendly Benefits

Emergency Backup Day Care

Emergency backup day care allows CEB parents to use a space at a nearby day care facility or schedule at-home care for those times when their own day care provider is unable to care for their child(ren). Bright Horizons is The Corporate Executive Board's provider of choice. This benefit is 100% employer paid.

Maternity and Paternity Leave

Expecting parents can utilize the company’s generous maternity and paternity leave policies, which offer paid time off to care for newborn and newly-adopted children.
